Announces 2003-2004 Board of Trustees The following individuals have been elected to the 2003-2004 Board of Trustees of the Greater Cincinnati Microenterprise Initiative, Inc. (GCMI).Cincinnati, Ohio (PRWEB) December 19 2003--Craig A. Jackson, Executive Director of The Greater Cincinnati Microenterprise Initiative, Inc., recently announced GCMI’s new board of trustees for 2003-2004. Trustees serve in a volunteer role and provide expert assistance to GCMI’s director and staff in many areas.
The following individuals have been elected to the 2003-2004 Board of Trustees of the Greater Cincinnati Microenterprise Initiative, Inc. (GCMI). President, Gwen L. Robinson, Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency; Vice President, Terry Grundy, United Way of Greater Cincinnati; Treasurer, Glenda Cousins, US Bank; Secretary, Monica E. Magette, Huntington Bank and Chris Kelso, Tri-State Center for Financial Training; Program Development, Philip M. Paradis, Blueline Editorial LLC; Recruiting, Terry Dickey, Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce; Marketing/Public Relations, Susan LaBonte, PINWHEEL Media Solutions; Fund Development, Robert Mendelsohn, Esquire; Sheldon Kopin, JBS Associates Consultants; George Jones, Photography & Travel; and Guinette M. Kirk, DNK Architects.
The Greater Cincinnati Microenterprise Initiative is a partnership of human service agencies, local banks and businesses working together to provide economic empowerment opportunities to individuals and communities through job creation and self-employment opportunities by stimulating and supporting entrepreneurship. GCMI is a non-profit 501(C) 3 organization located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
GCMI provides aspiring entrepreneurs with professional and financial resources as well as the continuous support they need to launch and maintain a successful business endeavor. Participants must meet the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) income guidelines for low-to-moderate income individuals.
In partnership with Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency, United Way of Greater Cincinnati, Bank One, US Bank, and PNC Bank, GCMI serves all aspiring entrepreneurs regardless of race, gender, age, or prior business experience, educational level, location of business, or type of business venture.
