2005-01-21, A&B SOLUTIONS - A local Los Angeles florist helps the famous TV designers give a South Central couple a dream wedding on a recent episode of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." Hidden Garden donates hundreds of flowers for Rodney and Monique Anderson`s surprise wedding.Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 21, 2005 -- The Hidden Garden Floral Studio (www.hiddengardenflowers.com) teamed with “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition“for the show’s first wedding episode. On Sunday, January 16th, viewers tuned in for a special two-hour episode in which a young basketball star, whose future was changed by a gang shooting, and his family received an extreme home makeover. In addition, Rodney Johnson and his fiancée, Monique Allen, received an extreme wedding coordinated by cast member and designer, Paige Hemmis, who happens to be an accomplished wedding planner as well this episode’s chief carpenter. When Paige set out to give Monique and Rodney the wedding they had been dreaming of, she turned to premier Los Angeles floral designer and long-time friend Amy Child Marella. Amy was more than happy to help and donated her studio and creative expertise to assist Paige with the couple’s special event. “Monique and Rodney have such a special bond and I wanted to pull out all stops for them,” said Paige Hemmis. “I knew Amy was the perfect choice for unforgettable wedding flowers.” Amy’s designs featured various roses, hydrangeas and tulips in reds, pinks & whites and were highlighted throughout the Anderson family home as well as in the actual wedding ceremony. Monique`s bouquet was made of black magic, black beauty and red crystals. Monday’s episode of “How’d They Do That”, the behind the scenes show for “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” revealed more of how the extreme team was able to give the Anderson family much more than a new home. For more information about the flowers used in “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” please contact . Amy Child Marella has been a premiere floral designer in Los Angeles for six years and was recently featured in MTV’s “Till Death Do Us Part” with Carmen Elektra and Dave Navarro.
