In addition to being the author of The Caring Heart, Arlene is President of Integrity International, a management and consulting company. An accomplished keynote speaker, Arlene also presents workshops and seminars across the United States and abroad.
Arlene has been involved with community service and volunteerism all her life. She served as Director of Volunteers for Convenant House in New York, and led a team of 450 volunteers to national acclaim when the program was recognzied by the White House in 1989. She was a contributing author to the Volunteer Management Handbook. She was recently honored by The AIDS Resource Foundation for Children for helping start the first program in the country for babies with AIDS. Arlene firmly believes that service is the highest form of consciousness on the planet.
