2005-05-19, MAXMEDIA - The 3rd Annual PBSF “In the Spirit of the Game” Dinner and World’s Largest Auction of Baseball Memorabilia will bring the greatest names in baseball together; Hall of Famers Sandy Koufax, Willie Mays and Tommy Lasorda as they join their peers to help professional baseball scouts in need.(PRWEB) May 19, 2005 --For one night each year, in front of a sold out attendance of over 1000 guests, PBSF’s “In the Spirit of the Game” Event brings America’s top business executives, celebrities, attorneys, investment bankers, sports, fashion, legal and the entertainment industry together for an amazing evening with some of the biggest stars in baseball. Declared as the “Best Event Produced in Professional Baseball” the Professional Baseball Scouts Foundation and its annual “In the Spirit of the Game” Dinner/Auction has raised over $350,000 to help scouts in financial need, due to job loss, illness or financial hardships. The event has honored over 20 of the world’s greatest legendary baseball Hall of Fame players, managers, scouts, coaches and executives including Hall of Famers Willie Mays, Reggie Jackson, Frank Robinson and Duke Snider, baseballs best; Los Angeles Dodgers’ Eric Gagne, and Boston Red Sox’s Curt Schilling, Olympic Gold Medalist Jennie Finch, America’s favorite baseball family; the Boone Family, former top MLB Manager Pat Gillick, legendary baseball scouts George Genovese, and the late Bob Zuk,.
